Spend dashboard demo: replay a month of company spend
A spend dashboard shows budget versus actual for every team and category, plus the alerts that fired along the way. This one is a working simulator: it replays 30 days of card transactions in your browser and shows exactly which alerts Spendnotify would have sent, and when.

What you are looking at
What the spend dashboard demo does
The simulator is the same deterministic rules engine Spendnotify uses to reason about spend, running on sample data. Pick one of three sample companies, or paste your own transactions as CSV, set monthly budgets and anomaly sensitivity, and press Run monitoring. The engine walks the month chronologically and produces two things: a mini spend dashboard with budget-versus-actual bars, and the alert wire, a feed of every email, SMS and Slack message that would have fired.
Everything computes in your browser. Sample data is plain JSON, and a pasted CSV is parsed and analyzed locally; pasted data never leaves your browser. Only sample-company runs make one optional network call, sending a one-line summary of a flagged sample pattern (rule name, merchant, amount) to fetch a plain-English explanation, and the demo uses built-in text whenever that call does not happen. There is no signup gate in front of the demo and nothing is stored.
In the real product the same rules run on live transactions from your existing cards and accounts, as described in real-time expense tracking, and the alerts go to your actual channels. The full capability list is on the expense tracking software features page.
The rules
What each monitoring rule means
These are the same budget alert and anomaly rules the product ships with. Sensitivity moves the thresholds of the anomaly rules.

| Rule | Severity | What it watches for |
|---|---|---|
| Budget warning | Warning | A category or team crosses 80 percent of its monthly budget with part of the month left. |
| Budget breach | Breach | A charge takes spend past 100 percent of the budget; everything after it is overspend. |
| Duplicate charge | Breach | The same merchant and amount appear twice within 48 hours, a classic double-billing pattern. |
| Amount outlier | Warning | A charge far above the employee's trailing median, for example 3x their normal spend. |
| New merchant | Info | A first-ever charge from a merchant nobody in the company has paid before. |
| Off-hours spike | Warning | Unusual spend landing at night or on weekends, outside the company's normal pattern. |
| Price increase | Warning | A recurring subscription charges more than it did last month. |
| Zombie subscription | Info | A recurring charge keeps billing while usage sits at zero, silent money out the door. |
