Procurement software pricing

Precoro pricing and Precoro vs Procurify cost for Core, Automation and Enterprise plans

Precoro publishes a starting price for two of its three plans, which already puts it ahead of most procurement vendors. The catch is where the features sit. Real-time budget tracking is on Automation, not Core, and that one line is worth $6,000 a year.

Short answer

How much does Precoro cost?

Precoro Core starts at $499 a month and Automation at $999 a month, both billed annually, so a year costs at least $5,988 or $11,988 before add-ons. Enterprise is quoted and is the only plan that promises unlimited users. If you need real-time budget tracking, the realistic floor is Automation, at $11,988 a year.

What each plan buys

Precoro plans and what sits on each one

Precoro calls its model package-based. You pick a tier, and the tier decides the features. The prices below are "starts at" figures, so the quote can move with your user count, entities and integrations.

Precoro Core

From $499 a month, $5,988 a year

  • Purchase requests, purchase orders and receipts
  • Invoices with two- and three-way match
  • Automated approvals, custom fields and workflows
  • Service and item catalog, payments
  • Vendor management, contract repository, expense management
  • QuickBooks Online, Xero and Slack
  • Reporting, analytics and the mobile app

Missing on Core: real-time budget tracking, API access and SSO.

Precoro Automation

From $999 a month, $11,988 a year

  • Everything in Core
  • Real-time budget tracking
  • Intelligent AP automation and e-invoicing
  • Intake management and inventory
  • PunchOut catalogs and AI document scanning
  • Vendor onboarding, supplier portal and RFPs
  • A wider range of integrations, API access and SSO

Precoro marks this plan "best value". It is also where the budget view lives.

Precoro Enterprise

Custom quote, billed annually

  • Everything in Automation
  • Unlimited users
  • Advanced admin controls
  • ERP systems and custom-built integrations
  • Regional hosting in the US or the EU
  • IP white-listing and enterprise data protection

Also sold separately: an AP Module from $499 a month for teams that only want invoices.

The line that moves the price

Does Precoro Core include real-time budget tracking?

No. On Precoro's own pricing page, real-time budget tracking is listed under Automation, next to the supplier portal and RFPs. Core gives you approvals and purchase orders but not the live budget view. The difference between the two starting prices is $500 a month, or $6,000 a year.

That matters because budget control is often the reason finance asked for a procurement tool in the first place. If a controller signs Core expecting to see department budgets burn down in real time, the upgrade conversation arrives in month two. Ask the sales team which of the Automation features you will actually use. If the answer is only budgets, you are paying $6,000 a year for one screen.

01

You need POs and matching

Core is the honest fit. Track budgets in your accounting system at month end and accept the lag.

02

You need POs, AP and budgets

Automation earns its price, because AP automation and intake come with the budget view.

03

You mainly need budget warnings

A procurement suite is the expensive route. An alerting layer on your cards and bank feeds costs less.

Year-one cost

Precoro vs Procurify cost and three other published anchors

Starting prices billed annually, read from each vendor's pricing page in late September 2026. Procurify and Zip publish nothing, so their rows use Vendr's contract data. Implementation and add-ons are excluded everywhere.

Plan Published price Year one, at least What sets the price Real-time budget view
Precoro Core From $499 a month $5,988 Package tier, user allowance quoted Not listed on this plan
Precoro Automation From $999 a month $11,988 Package tier, user allowance quoted Yes, listed as real-time budget tracking
Procurify None, custom quote $15,000 median (range $4,210 to $40,000) Platform fee plus Pro users. Requesters are free. Budgets on the base Purchasing product, spend inside Procurify only
ProcureDesk Growth $1,250 a month, 20 users $15,000 Users, $20 per extra user a month Not stated on the pricing page, ask in the demo
Zip None, custom quote $88,000 median (range $26,586 to $214,750) Platform fee, seats and modules Budget checks at intake, enterprise scale
SpendNotify Growth $449 a month, whole company $4,308 billed yearly Flat plan, up to 100 monitored employees Trend alerts on all card and bank spend. No POs.

The last row is not a like-for-like substitute and we would not pretend otherwise. SpendNotify does no purchase orders, no three-way match and no invoice capture. It is in the table because many teams shopping for Automation really want the budget warning, and it is useful to know what that piece costs on its own.

Precoro vs Procurify

Is Precoro cheaper than Procurify?

At the entry level, usually yes. Precoro Core starts at $5,988 a year and Automation at $11,988, while the median Procurify contract in Vendr's data is $15,000. The two vendors count differently, though, and that can flip the answer for a large company.

Procurify prices the people who approve, buy and pay (its Pro users) and gives everyone who only requests or receives a free Basic seat. Precoro prices a package, and only its Enterprise plan says unlimited users. A 300-person company with 200 requesters and 10 approvers is exactly the shape Procurify's model rewards. A 60-person company with five approvers and simple needs will usually pay less on Precoro Core.

Where Precoro wins

  • A published starting price for two plans, so the budget is known before the demo.
  • Cancellation at any time with 30 days notice, according to its FAQ.
  • Inventory, PunchOuts and RFPs on the mid tier.
  • A standalone AP Module for teams that are not ready for full procure-to-pay.

Where Procurify wins

  • Free requester seats, so rolling out to every employee does not change the price.
  • Budgets are part of the base Purchasing product rather than a higher tier.
  • A card and expense product sold alongside purchasing.
  • A long track record in North American mid-market companies.

Beyond the subscription

What Precoro costs beyond the plan price

Precoro sells four paid add-ons: Multiple Companies for several legal entities in one account, Integrations for ERP and other systems, Concierge Setup and Dedicated Support. None has a published price, and Precoro says you are never charged for one you did not choose.

Standard onboarding is two consultation sessions and a one-hour training. Concierge Setup raises that to up to ten consultations and five training sessions, with Precoro importing your data. Onboarding typically takes four to six weeks. Budget for the internal hours too: someone has to map approval rules and cost centers before the first request goes through.

Payment is by card or bank transfer, in US dollars, pounds or euros, and Precoro reports SOC 2 Type II.

What a purchasing budget does not see

Why budget tracking in a procurement tool still misses spend

Even on Automation, a Precoro budget counts what went through Precoro. The department budget line in your general ledger counts everything.

Card swipes with no PO

Software trials, travel and ad accounts bill straight to a corporate card and never become a request.

Recurring charges

A subscription approved once keeps billing every month, and price increases arrive without a new request.

Pace, not position

A budget at 55 percent on the 9th is a problem. A consumption bar does not say so. A trend projection does.

Where SpendNotify fits, and where it does not

SpendNotify does not create purchase orders, match invoices or pay vendors, so it will not replace Precoro. It connects read-only to the cards and bank accounts you already use, projects each department's month against its budget, and alerts the budget owner by email, SMS or Slack the day a team is on pace to overshoot, PO or no PO. How the projection works is on budget alerts, and the plans are on pricing.

Before you sign

How to buy Precoro without paying for the wrong tier

01

List the must-haves

Budgets, AP, API or SSO each push you to Automation. If none is on the list, stay on Core.

02

Get the user allowance in writing

Only Enterprise states unlimited users. Ask how many seats Core and Automation include and what the next one costs.

03

Name your connector

QuickBooks Online and Xero are on Core. NetSuite, Intacct or Business Central may need a higher tier or an add-on.

04

Diary the notice date

Billing is annual and cancellation needs 30 days notice. Put the date in the calendar on day one.

Questions buyers ask

Precoro pricing questions, answered

Can I cancel Precoro?

Yes. Precoro says you can cancel at any time with 30 days notice, and access stays active until the end of the current billing period. Plans are billed annually, so time the notice around renewal. Refunds follow its terms, and you can request a full data export.

Which accounting systems does Precoro integrate with?

Core lists QuickBooks Online, Xero and Slack. Automation adds a wider range of integrations, API access and SSO, and Enterprise lists ERP systems and custom integrations. Precoro also names NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Business Central and BILL, so confirm the tier for yours before signing.

Is the Precoro AP Module the same as Automation?

No. The AP Module is a separate product from $499 a month for invoices, AP automation, e-invoicing, budget management and payments, without purchase requests and orders. Automation is the full procure-to-pay plan at $999 a month that includes AP automation alongside purchasing.

How long does Precoro take to implement?

Precoro says onboarding typically takes four to six weeks, depending on team size. Standard onboarding is two consultations and a one-hour training. The paid Concierge Setup adds up to ten consultations, five training sessions and a delegated data import.

Can SpendNotify replace Precoro?

No. SpendNotify does not create purchase orders or match invoices. It connects read-only to your cards and bank accounts and alerts each budget owner when a department is trending over its monthly budget, including spend that never went through a purchase order.
